Every morning when I arrive I check my messages on Springshot using my mobile phone.

This morning, I saw a notification for a new policy regarding quiet hours in executive offices. I quickly read and signed the bulletin to let my manager know I understood.

Notifications

Right after that, I received a Springshot notification from Mark Wheeler, the dispatcher who organizes janitorial teams.

He let me know that a meeting had just finished in Conference Room B and he was assigning me the task, or mission, of cleaning up the mess that was left behind. I can easily see all of the missions assigned to me in Springshot, but this was the top priority so I got right to work!

Rewards

While I worked, I found an iphone, keys and an access badge that were left in the conference room.

I quickly snapped a photo and logged these as “lost and found” items. My manager noticed this and sent me a virtual high five for going the extra mile to make sure the items were returned to their owners. I’d say it was the highlight of my day, but i was more excited to let the rest of my team know there was leftover pizza from the meeting up for grabs in the conference room.

With Springshot, I know exactly what I need to do to be successful every day.

I also know that Mark can run Mission Reports to show his superiors because he told me how impressed they were about my efficiency and attention to detail. It always feels good to be recognized for my efforts!
